Royal Worcester Aesthetic Movement Porcelain Water Jug, Ca. 1880
A lovely water jug with blush ivory creamy ground in the Japanese Aesthetic Movement style. The body is decorated with floral sprigs of flowers such as iris, pansy, peony, etc. The mark on the base indicates it was made in 1886. The base is also marked HS, possibly the artist’s initials. The handle is in the form of bamboo.
