Wing Chair, 18th Century, Mahogany
England Ca. 1770
A George lll wing chair of typical form with a serpentine crest and outward flaring arms. The square legs have a single molded edge.
Retains an early, possibly original finish with normal signs of usage. One rear leg has a tapered patch at the bottom (see close up view) which is not noticeable without inspection. The once attractive upholstery is soiled and heavily frayed.
