A Chinese Export porcelain mug with a scene of Mandarins on the front and birds on a cherry tree on the handle side. Very fine quality with strong colors.

Excellent except for the gold at the top edge of the rim is mostly rubbed off. Other tiny flaws. No repairs.

A vigorously curved serpentine shaped fireplace fender made of brass and iron. This has an infrequently seen cross brace between the ends of the serpentine curves. This is the first time I have seen brass feet that resemble the base of some Boston classical andirons.
