A pair of late rococo Derby figures. What can I say, I love these. They represent high art ceramics for their period. TheDerby Company considered themselves to be the equal to Meissen and strove to maintain superlative products.

Next Piece

Large Derby Figurine Representing Britannia, Ca. 1765

A lovely example of the early English sculptures produced at the Derby Factory during Derby’s golden age. The form of this figurine is from the story of Una and the Lion. At the time of this listing I also have a figure of Minerva that would make a great companion piece.
