Oil Painting “Rocks On The Tasman Bay” by Gabriel E. Adams

New Zealand 2007

By contemporary artist Gabriel Edward Adams. The Tasman Bay is located at the northern tip of the New Zealand’s South Island.

Gabriel Edward Adams (USA/NZ) is an emerging international artist with a diverse practice which traverses drawing, sculpture, installation art, and curatorial practice. The artist maintains an extensive exhibition biography which includes numerous countries such as So. Korea, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Italy, Turkey, Nepal, China and most recently at the 56th Venice Biennial and 14th Istanbul Biennial. These are rare pieces as the artist often works with ephemera and site specific works, but represent Adams depth of practice and command of visual language. The artist is based between Western Massachusetts and New Zealand. At the time of this listing I have several other works by Adams in oils and large charcoal and chalk drawings on paper.
