Mid 19th Century Lustre or Girondole Set,

America or England Ca. 1840

A very scarce 3 piece set with marble, patinated bronze, gilt and crystal prisms produced in the late Classical/Early Victorian period. These were often used on fireplace mantels but also look great on a sideboard or dining table.

Condition

The center group lacks 2 prisms and the side single stick holders are missing 3. There are very small scattered chips and dings on the marble bases. There is rubbing of the gilt especially on the two single stick holders. The surface has an old smokey patina. Please note that if shipping, all the prisms must be taken off to be wrapped.
