Gilded Pelmets or Cornices, 18th Century Rococo

Gilded pelmets or cornice boards made in Europe at the height of the Rococo Period. This pair is carved wood and appear to retain most of their original gold leaf which has mellowed over time. These would have originally been used over door ways or windows.
