Georgian Sterling Silver Patch or Pill Box

England 1796

This patch box bears the London hall marks for Phipps and Robinson, 1796. It retains a gold wash on the interior and engraved designs on the exterior. It weighs 16 grams about 1/2 oz. troy.

A pair of Chinese earthenware glazed temple lion/foo dog figures made into lamps. I’m not sure of the age but my best guess is late 20th Century. The bases are black lacquered, brass fittings and cream colored silk shades.
