George III Irish or English Tea Table, Ca. 1760

This exquisite tilt top tripod based tea table is in as untouched condition as one could hope to find. The tapered fluted post has two carved bands just above the legs and carved flower heads between the legs. Each leg is carved with a pectin shell, three peanuts and a pendant flower. The legs end in pointed pad feet have carving on the top which resembles a stylized many legged turtle

Original condition with age appropriate insignificant repairs, dings, stains. The glue joint between the two board top has separated.
