George III Inlaid Mahogany Card/Tea Table Ca. 1780

England Ca. 1780

A great addition to any home. This fold over game or tea table has the best proportions, dynamic wood figure and
luster, with a generous amount of inlays. It dates from the last quarter of the 18th century and is based on designs
most commonly associated with the Hepplewhite style.

Excellent antique condition. Lustrous finish, minor inlay replacement, normal signs of age. The molded cuffs at the bottom of the legs had fallen off due to shrinkage / glue failure and appropriately recreated from antique mahogany.

28 3/4" High, 36 1/8" Wide, 17 3/4" Deep (top closed), 35 1/2" Deep (top open)
