Vassilier, French Walnut Cupboard, 18th Century

France 2nd half of the 18th Century

Vassilier, French Provincial Walnut Cupboard, probably made in the 2nd half of the 18th or very early 19th Century. Sorry for the photos but this item is currently in storage.
It is a fine quality example of a type rarely offered for sale, especially in the US. This walnut and oak example was once the property of Wanda Toscanini Horowitz, daughter of the famous conductor Arturo Toscanini and wife of Vladimir Horowits the impeccable concert pianist.

The top separates from the base to facilitate moving.
