A striking soup tureen with under plate most likely made at Worcester in the Flight, Barr and Barr period. It has an heraldic symbol with a motto “Vi Et Virtute” or loosely, strength and valor.

Antique Brass and Iron Serpentine Fire Place Fender, Ca. 1780

A nice small example with a serpentine facade. The top is capped in brass with iron wire work below on an iron and sheet iron base. These were made from the mid 1700s into the 1820s corresponding with furniture designs of that period with serpentine shaped fronts.
