Chinese Export Porcelain European Subject Stand

China Ca. 1740

Chinese Export porcelain that I think this is a tea pot stand. I’ve never seen this star shaped form before. It has an enamel scene of  a courting couple with a chaperone seated in a landscape. The rim has a line and chevron pattern with a Greek key on the inner sides.

A delicately rendered water color portrait mounted on needlework. Both the water color and stitching are very clean and bright for its age. The frame retains a very early painted and gilded surface. The glass is also hand made.
