Antique Paris Porcelain Set of Serving Pieces, Ca. 1850

A matched set of serving pieces of a type referred to as “Paris Porcelain” as so much of it was made in and around Paris in the second half of the 19th century, much of which was not marked by the makers. It consists of a covered soup tureen, two covered vegetable dishes, two covered sauce tureens, 5 covered pot de creme, a fish platter and two leaf shaped dishes. The decoration is a vintage pattern with green leaves, deep burgundy grapes and gold branches and tendrils.

Condition

Very good antique condition. One side handle on the soup tureen has been repaired. Moderate rubbing of the gold. No noticeable cracks or chips.
