Antique Chinese Export Rose Canton Porcelain Tea Pot, Ca. 1860

China Ca. 1860

A nice little porcelain tea pot with very good delineation and bright colors. One side has a Mandarin domestic courtyard scene and the other has flowers, a bird and a butterfly. Except for the handle, spout and scenic reserves there is an unusually dense amount of tightly painted green scrolls with gold and a few butterflies on the rest of the body.
