Cream ware or Queen’s ware part desert service made in England ca. 1820. There are six 8″ plates, two sauce tureens, two square  and one oval serving dishes. The decorations are central sprig of grapes, brown lines and gilded flower heads. The sauce tureens are made as one with the under trays.

These have a few gummed stickers on the backs from D.M. & P. Manheim, one of the best known porcelain dealers of the 20th Century. No maker’s marks. The last owner left a price sticker stating “LEEDS, C. 1810…$2800.

Condition

Overall very good. There is the usual flaking of the brown enamel lines, light rubbing of the gold, small abrasions and the oval serving dish has a 1 1/2" line and a small chip on the back. One plate has more rubbing of the gold ( see illus. ) than the rest.
