American Eagle Export Style Cups and Saucers

Possibly China 20th Century

These may have been made in China in the 20th Century. They are definitely made like the originals  created in China for the newly established United States of America. They are hand painted with a white body with brown, red and gold decoration. The originals would have been made between the late 1780s to the 1830s. They are the highest quality.

New England Tiger Maple Tall Chest, Ca. 1770

A classic example of a New England tiger maple country tall chest made in the last third of the 18th century. Nice tall bracket feet and visually dynamic striping on the drawer fronts. An unusual curved bracing between the bottom board and feet possibly indicating a specific cabinet maker.
