Walnut Marquetry Early Side Table, Ca.1700

Europe Ca. 1700

A lovely European walnut side table with a marquetry top made in the late 17th or early 18th Century. The rectangular top with molded edge above a case with a single drawer sits on four squared cabriole legs ending in scroll feet. The legs are held stable by an X form stretcher. The variegated woods go from dark chocolate to amber blond adding great visual impact.

The top fastens to the base with four easily removed pegs. (going to make one more as it came with only 3)
