An unusually large Staffordshire pottery transfer-ware pitcher with a variant of the Oriental Blue Willow pattern only with an English countryside version called “Spode’s Tower” by Copeland the successor to the Spode manufactory.

Condition

Very good condition except for all over crackle in the glaze. This is natural occurring crackle not the imitation used on later copies. There are also a few short hair lines seen only on the interior near the base.
