Pair Curtain Tiebacks, Gilt Bronze and Porcelain

A decorative Victorian Era pair of curtain tiebacks made from gilt bronze and lightly gilded white porcelain flower heads. They do come with later made wall mounting holders. They make a nice object d’art on a shelf too.

Overall very good except for oxidation of the bronze showing through the gilt surface. Mounting plates are not original

A nice small example with a serpentine facade. The top is capped in brass with iron wire work below on an iron and sheet iron base. These were made from the mid 1700s into the 1820s corresponding with furniture designs of that period with serpentine shaped fronts.
