Fine Japanese Tall Cup and Saucers

Japan 19th Century

Admittedly I know little about Japanese porcelain but I can spot quality when I see it. There is one cup or beaker and two saucers of eggshell thin porcelain. The painting over the glaze is sharply delineated with rich colors and gold. I believe it dates from the 2nd half of the 19th century.

Price

$225

Condition

Excellent except one saucer has two very small rim chips on the underside. The gold is near perfect.

Measurements

3 1/2" high, 3 3/4" diam, saucers 5 1/4" diam.
