Meissen Type 18th Century European Porcelain Jug / Pot
Possibly German Ca. 1760
A baluster form jug with all over molded basket weave pattern, quatrefoil vignettes of couples in a landscape, scattered floral sprigs, lots of gold highlighting and the lid with a flower form knopf. This resembles Meissen type production and many factories that copied Meissen’s style. It is unmarked. It probably dates from the 3rd quarter of the 18th Century.
