A very decorative pair of vases that are Regency/Victorian transition in form. They would have been originally placed on a fireplace mantel to hold rolled paper “sticks” to aid in lighting a fire. There is no maker’s mark

Excellent condition except there is a small chip to the tip of one of the ram's ears. The gold is in unusually good condition with only minor rubbing on the edge of the blue bases.
